Thanksgiving Serving!

This year we (Beacon) are helping the El Modena Community Center with their Thanksgiving dinner. They have asked the church to put together some gift baskets to raffle off at the dinner on Tuesday. The serve team at the Beacon has asked that the life groups collect items and make one basket per life group.

Here is where you come in, if you are able to bring an item(s) to donate to a basket, gift card, lotions, movies, etc… and bring it with you on Wednesday evening to youth group we can put together a basket!!

Are not able to bring anything you can still help! You can also donate any new or gently used clothing for the clothing drive we will have at the dinner as well.

There’s more!!! Donate your time; you can help with set-up on Saturday, November 20 anytime from 9am – 3pm at the El Modena Community Center. Also, on Tuesday, November 22 you can help serve dinner and hand out clothing at the Center from 5:30 – 8 p.m.

We are starting at 7pm and going to around 9pm

We are having a competition this week. When you get to youth group you are going to be put on a team with Kristin or I. The competition is going to be on how crazy can you dress up your youth leader? You are encouraged to bring crazy clothes, food, make up, and anything you can think of. This summer we have been getting you messy, now it’s your chance to get us! Bring it!

Summer Fun

So this summer has been one crazy ride for Kristin and I. However its been fun hanging out with all of you on wednesday nights!
